I know better than ride directly behind Casey when a female canine in heat might have peed right there beside the road. But I did. And I went over the handlebars. I’m just a little banged up. Casey was fine.

More stuff to come! Guess it’s spring cleaning time

A project we’ve been wanting to get off the ground for years now is finally starting – it’s going to take a fair amount of work to get it rolling but we think it’ll be worth it.

www.mushlantic.org  is a new page we’re starting and it’s goal is to foster mushing and gather resources, knowledge and articles for all things mushing related.

It’s also a place to centralize mushing groups and organizations in Atlantic Canada.

It’s for anyone curious about mushing, who do mush either as a hobby or professionally. For people looking to start a mushing group in their area or runs a mushing group.

We’ll be looking around for good information that we can link or articles written by people that mush. If you see any send mushlantic an email or post in the forums and we’ll take it from there.

You’ve all made a big difference in how we’ve been able to deal with Claire’s operation and recovery. We tell her about all the well wishes and give her the treats we were given to help her heal (they really work!  ). The people of the dog community are the best and most understanding folks we know.

We have a few new products to put up, Tuf Foot, training tugs and Johnny Zee’s Nylon Dog Balls (now in various colours) and a whole lot of inventory adjustments to do. The coming holiday weekend should see us put a big dent in all the things we want to get done.

We really love what we do. Of course being busy is fantastic and by all means keep the orders coming Every picture we see of people and dogs using our products makes us feel great. Nothing better than a smiling, tired dog and owners.

There was a nice level of interest in our products and I think we got our name out to more people which is really one of our goals when we go to these.

The other goal is to see how our customers/friends and their dogs are doing. It’s really amazing to see the changes in many of the dogs. More confidence, more in tune with the owners and they seem to be happier.

The expo was non stop from opening at 10am till 3pm, even better than last year which was steady. Seemed to be the case for the vendor friends we talked to.

All in all another excellent expo put on by the folks at GPAC and we appreciate them having us – hope to see everyone there next year!

Also,  no magnetic I *heart* my disc dog decals. But we did order a few ‘other’ things.
